Quick connect that just pushes directly into the filter ends and pull on them to make sure they are secure.
How to I take off the filter from the line?
Push on the tiny lip around the opening. Compress the lip and pull on the line at the same time. The water line will slide out immediately.
How often do filters need to be replaced?
Replace filters Every 6 months or twice a year.
How do I attach the line to the water pipe?
Turn off water; a standard saddle valve is most often used. There is another method by using copper or plastic T-Off Fittings.

How do I attach to an icemaker water line?
Turn off water, cut the icemaker line, and use a plastic T-Off fitting. The water line is then pushed directly onto the T-Off and directly onto water filter with the quick connect that is provide with purchase and comes with your cooler.
Is there a place to mount the filter on the cooler?
Anywhere on a Tabletop or Floor model there are several screws on the back. You can undo the screw and place on the bracket. Use the screws provided with the purchase that is supplied for you to replace the old one. The steal handle on the back of cooler can be removed. The Ever Pure bracket fits perfect and use the screws that are provide. They are longer and will hold more securely.
How often do you need to clean it and what is the procedure?
Use hydrogen peroxide and mix it up inside the reservoir. A small bottle of hydrogen peroxide is enough. Once the mixture is mixed up make sure it comes through the faucets then let it set for around 20 minutes. Then, run more filtered water through the cooler until you know the hydrogen peroxide is gone. This is hospital standard sanitization. Do this once a year or every time you change the filter. It is up to you.
How much does the cleaning kit cost?
Cost is between .23 & .58 cents for a bottle of hydrogen peroxide. This cleaning method can be done on all styles of cooler or ceramic crock. There will be any after taste or harmful effects.

Hydro life is $42.00 and Ever Pure is $57.95 or $67.95.
Do I need a plumber to install this cooler?
A plumber is not necessary for an install. I good handy man can do the simple install for around $60.00 an hour. If you can’t find one I can call around your local area to find a professional who can do it. A small appliance repair person is perfect for the job.
